Discipleship can not happen without community! Finding a group of people that knows you deeply and still loves you is crucial for undertanding that same love that Jesus has for you. At TriStar Church we want to see people not only connect with other believers, but also live on mission together! Our vision is to live out the gospel alongside others. That is always done best in the context of a group. Because community is not one size fits all, we offer a couple of different options to you for community!
Two Options Same Goal
Missional Communities: MC’s are a way for people to connect with each other in a small group setting (10-30 people), and challenge each other to live on mission together. A missional community is a smaller group of missionary servants committed to sharing life, growing together, and living out the Gospel alongside a specific group of people. Our missional communities might be focused on a geographic area, or around an area of shared interests.
All of our MC’s meet outside the four walls of the church, through the week in homes, as well as public spaces alongside others. Our MC’s are committed to living out the following rhythms.
Discipleship Clusters: DC’s are much smaller and much more intimate. These groups are same gender and typically have 3-6 people in them. Our goal is that these more intimate groups will provide the opportunity for deeper relationships, accountability, and encouragement to lives on mission in the places Jesus has placed you!
All our DC’s meet randomly through out the week in homes or in public spaces alongside others. Our DC’s are also committed to living out the following Rhythms.

SHARE LIFE TOGETHER
We were never designed to live out the Christian life in isolation. We need each other! Our missional communities are where we can be real and transparent about our own lives and struggles, as well as celebrate victories.
BLESS OTHERS
Since we have been blessed on the cross with the greatest gift ever, we ought to be a people who bless others. Our missional communities regularly set aside time to creatively love others without any strings attached.
CONNECT WITH OTHERS
Our community groups not only want to build relationships with each other, we also want to make sure we are reaching out and connecting with those God has placed around us.
CHALLENGE EACH OTHER TO GROW
Through regular study of scripture, prayer and accountability, our missional communities help challenge each other to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus! The more we understand about Him, the more we will live like Him!
