VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We believe that God has uniquely equipped each of His children with talents and gifts to help build His Kingdom here on Earth. No matter what your gifts may be, there is a place for you at TriStar. Below are just a few opportunities to get involved and serve, though this list is by no means exhaustive. If you don’t see the right fit, please reach out — we’re eager to work with you to find the perfect place where you can use your gifts to make a difference!
KID'S MINISTRY
Every month, it takes 47 volunteers to disciple the next generation of kids at TriStar Church! That means that there is a place for you to help. Our Kids’ Ministry has many different ways that you can serve. Here are a few ways you can serve in our Kids’ Ministry:
• Nursery Teacher/Helper
• Pre-K Teacher/Helper
• K-5th Teacher/Helper
• Rally Leader
• Service Coordinator
• Check In Station
All Kid’s Ministry volunteers must complete an application process, undergo a background screening, and receive special Safe Kids training for working with minors.
HOSPITALITY
Our Hospitality teams help everyone to feel welcome and at home at TriStar Church. For many people who come to TriStar each week, this team is the face of our Church. The Hospitality team serves in the following ways:
• Greeters (outside, lobby, and worship center)
• Next Steps Table
• Coffee Station
WORSHIP
The worship team wants to open the door to allow everyone to use their musical gifts and talents to lead our congregation in Gospel centered worship as part of our Sunday morning gatherings. We are looking for people who can:
• Sing
• Play the guitar
• Play the bass
• Play drums
• Play keyboard
PRODUCTION
Sunday service would not be possible if it were not for our amazing production volunteers. Our production team is always looking out for people who are interested in:
• Operating Lights
• Operating Audio
• Operating Computers for screens.
You don’t need experience to serve on this team! Our crew will help train you on what you need.
SECURITY
Our security team is trained and prepared to respond to a wide range of unexpected situations, including natural disasters, security threats, and medical emergencies. With a strong focus on safety, they work diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on campus—especially during gatherings where large numbers of adults and children are present. Their presence allows families to feel confident that, in any situation, there is a capable team ready to act quickly and wisely to protect and care for those in attendance.
