Volunteer Opportunities

We believe that God has equipped each of His children with talents and gifts to build His kingdom here on Earth. No matter your gifts, there is a place here for you at TriStar. Below are some opportunities to plug in and serve, but this list is not exhaustive. Please reach out and we will work with you to find just the right place for you!

Kids' Ministry
Kids' Ministry

Our Kid’s Ministry has many different ways that you can serve.  Here are a few ways you can serve in our Kid’s Ministry:

  • Nursery Teacher/Helper
  • Pre-K Teacher/Helper
  • K-5th Teacher/Helper
  • Rally Leader
  • Service Coordinator
  • Check In Station

All Kid’s Ministry volunteers must go through an application process, background screening, and receive special training for working with minors.

Hospitality
Hospitality

Our Hospitality teams helps everyone to feel welcome and at home at TriStar Church.  For many people who come to TriStar each week this team is the face of our Church.  The Hospitality teams serves in the following ways:

  • Greeters (outside, lobby, and worship center)
  • Next Steps Table
  • Coffee Station
Worship
Worship

The worship team wants to open the door to allow everyone to use their musical gifts and talents to lead our congregation in Gospel centered worship as part of our Sunday morning gatherings.  We are looking for people who can:

  • Sing
  • Play the guitar
  • Play the bass
  • Play drums
  • Play keyboard

 

Production
Production

Sunday service would not be possible if it were not for our amazing production volunteers.  Our production team is always looking out for people who are interested in:

  • Operating Lights
  • Operating Audio
  • Operating Computers for screens.

You don’t need experience to serve on this team!  Our crew will help train you on what you need.

Set-up/Tear down Crew
Set-up/Tear down Crew

The Set-Up/Tear-Down Crew makes sure that everything is set up and ready for our Sunday service.  They also make sure that everything gets packed away and stored for the next week.  This crew sets up the following each week:

  • Signage inside and outside the building.
  • Kids Ministry area.
  • Lobby area.

Set-Up/Tear-Down Crew arrives at 8:30am and usually has everything set up within an hour.  The tear down process typically take around 45 minutes to an hour.
